How to Get to Žagarė#
Žagarė is best reached by road from the Šiauliai area; Šiauliai Airport is the nearest airfield but has limited services, while Palanga and Kaunas/Vilnius offer wider scheduled flights with longer ground transfers. Regional buses from Šiauliai are the usual public‑transport option.

From Šiauliai city you can reach Žagarė by regional bus or taxi; buses take about 50-70 minutes and typically cost around €3-5, a taxi is faster (roughly 40-55 minutes) but more expensive (approx. €30-€50 depending on provider).
Palanga Airport (PLQ): Palanga (serving Klaipėda/Palanga area) handles more seasonal flights; by road Palanga→Žagarė is longer (about 1.5-2 hours). Intercity buses or car hire are common options; expect bus fares in the €5-10 range and journey times around 1.5-2 hours.
Train: Žagarė does not have a passenger railway station. The nearest significant rail hub is Šiauliai (Šiauliai station), from which onward travel to Žagarė is by bus or car.
